現在創業100年を超える老舗ガラスメーカー「清水硝子」の江戸切子。
梅の花・竹の葉・松葉をクロスさせ、底には菊文様をあしらい、古来より慶びを象徴する吉祥文様を施したグラス。祝福の心を込めて誂えられたかのように、ひとつひとつの文様が調和し、手にする人へやわらかな華やぎを届ける。伝統の美を纏いながらも凛とした佇まいは、特別な日の席を優雅に彩り、祝いのひとときをより格別なものへと導いてくれる。

A Cup of Auspicious Bloom
Edo Kiriko by Shimizu Glass, a glassmaker with over a century of history.
This glass combines plum blossoms, bamboo leaves, and pine needles in a cross motif, with a chrysanthemum pattern on the base—auspicious symbols long associated with joy and celebration. Each design harmonizes as if crafted with heartfelt wishes, bringing a gentle radiance to the hand. Wrapped in the beauty of tradition yet poised with quiet dignity, it graces festive occasions with elegance and makes moments of celebration all the more memorable.

Shimizu Glass
Established in 1923, Shimizu Glass is one of the few Edo Kiriko studios with roots dating back before the war. Guided by the theme “Edo Kiriko for Everyday Living,” its master artisans carefully hand-cut each piece, creating glassware that brings brilliance and charm to the dining table and continues to enchant many.
Beyond tableware, Shimizu Glass extends its craftsmanship to interior design, architecture, and other creative fields. While honoring tradition, it embraces originality and fresh ideas, continually pursuing the creation of works that are both distinctive and timeless.
